A Conversation with Emmy-Award Winning Costume Designer Leah Katznelson

A Larchmont resident, Friends board member, and part-time doula, Leah is widely known for her work in tv and film, including on Fleishman Is in Trouble, White House Plumbers, and the FX limited series Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans, for which she won the Creative Arts Emmy Award last fall. In creating costumes for characters in a show, Leah says she thinks about the neighborhood they live in, the music they listen to, the cars they drive, the schools they go to, and the food they’re eating: "It’s like a sociological analysis. You try to imagine what their closet would look like. You create a whole world." Don't miss this look behind the scenes!
